The main differences between the original Cave Story for PC and this 'beta' Wii version are that the music is new composed of lame MIDIs (the original used special ORG files), Quote's sprite has been changed (this can be over looked), some of the sound effects are different, the 'transition' between rooms looks different and lastly, the font is different. I'm just hoping that the game reverts back to the music/sprites/fonts that the original PC version used.
Update: It has been confirmed by Pixel, the creator of Cave Story that the game will feature both a port faithful to the original and an 'enhanced' port.
To be honest, I didn't like the original Quote sprite that much. Doesn't appear much like the illustration. Hopefully it's not worse though, I still can't run the movie files. :P

It's good to complain about stuff before it comes out. That way, if the creator isn't stupid, he'd look at the complaints and decide what to do with it.
If you are a writer, it's good to hear criticisms before release. Same might apply here.
Perhaps they changed the music to lower download times? Because the original is about 9MB.
Can't watch the video now, but perhaps you can show the original version for those people who don't know? Although maybe you did already? Think about Brawl, new people saw nothing wrong, old people who know how the originals work did saw many things wrong [at least most of them].
Changes in the game from one version to another consists of news. Although, M3 does run the risk of posting too many Cave Story articles, since he loves the game very much, but this article is normal. It falls under footage.
However, they should have been YouTube videos. I can't load them on this computer for some reason, I've always been able to load mov files before. If they were Youtube a lot more people would see them and this would be much more worthy. Someone should have uploaded them or it should be available somewhere on Youtube by now.
This isn't too much. More than this other than a really big thing like Cave Story was released or another footage a few weeks later is kinda is too much. Admittedly though, this would have been better as a news update than a new article. This would have helped people know how it plays...if they were Youtube links. It's useful to Cave Story fans, but not tp people who don't give a crap and would much rather prefer the next Zelda. Should be somewhere on Youtube...
Red Link helped the last one look more professional. EmThree agreed with me that the last Cave Story one was a spazz out. :P
And this is why I said M3 should be careful. It's like me posting a news about SSB64, can you guess what would happen? Chances are I will praise it too much, and bash Brawl multiple times in the same article.
Yeah, this was more of a fangasm than anything. My Cave Story phase still hasn't worn off, but I've found other ways to express myself besides posting bad news on OCW.
